Electronic Water Timer(YL21025)

Not everyone wants a tiny computer on their tap. The YL-21025 is the water timer for people who want automation without the instruction manual — two chunky dials, no menus, no Wi-Fi, no "why is the screen blank" moments. Turn one dial to how often you want to water, turn the other to how long, and walk away. It just works, season after season, even when the smart gadgets have given up.

Product Description

• Frequency can be set at 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 H, and Week
• Run Time can be set at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120 mins
• For taps with 26.5mm(G 3/4”) thread
• 2 x AAA alkaline batteries required(not included)

Why It Is the Easy Choice

  • Two Turns and You Are Done: One dial sets the gap between waterings (1 hour to a full week). The other sets how long each session lasts (1–120 minutes). That is the whole setup.
  • No Screen to Fail: With no LCD or app, there is nothing to misread, freeze, or forget. It is the most forgiving timer for beginners, kids helping in the garden, or rental properties.
  • Tough Where It Counts: A sealed O-ring, tightened top cover, dirt-trapping filter, and water-resistant body shrug off rain, dust, and grit. It is built to live outside.
  • Battery Just Runs the Valve: Two AAA alkaline cells power the motor that opens and closes the valve — not a power-hungry display. Long life, easy swap.
  • Honest Battery Alert: The LED blinks once every 4 seconds when healthy, and blinks fast or stays steady when it is time for fresh batteries. No nasty surprises mid-summer.

How It Works (Spoiler: Two Turns)

  • Frequency Dial: Choose how often to water: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours, or once a week.
  • Run Time Dial: Choose how long each watering lasts: 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes.
  • It Counts Down and Repeats: The first watering starts one Frequency-interval after you set the dials, then repeats every interval. Want the first soak at a specific hour? Set the dials that many hours beforehand.
  • Need Water Now?: Turn the Run Time dial to ON for instant manual watering, then back to OFF when done — no reprogramming.

Built to Survive the Garden

  • Hand-Tighten Fit: A 3/4" (G3/4, 26.5 mm) tap adaptor with a collar ring clamps on by hand — no spanner, no pliers, no cracked plastic.
  • Snap-On Hose: A male snap-on connector at the bottom takes your standard hose or sprinkler in a click.
  • Self-Cleaning Filter: An internal filter traps dirt particles and extends the timer life; just rinse it now and then.
  • Weather-Wise: Water-resistant and happy from 1°C to 60°C water, 0–8 bar pressure. Mount it above ground and vertical to the tap — never submerged.

Perfect For

  • First-time timer buyers who want zero learning curve
  • Holiday watering for lawns, pots, and veggie beds
  • Greenhouses, allotments, and rental or Airbnb gardens
  • Anyone who has fought with a fancy digital timer and lost

Heads-Up: This is a mechanical timer — brilliant in its simplicity, but it has no display or programs. One important rule: Frequency must always be longer than Run Time (e.g. you cannot set a 90-minute soak every single hour). The 2× AAA alkaline batteries are not included and should not be rechargeable. Use fresh cells at the start of each season.

Set It Up in Under a Minute

  • Fit the Batteries: Slide out the battery compartment and insert 2 × fresh AAA alkaline batteries. Turn Run Time to ON briefly — you should hear the motor within 10 seconds — then back to OFF before connecting.
  • Clamp to the Tap: Loosen the collar ring, screw the 3/4" tap adaptor onto your tap by hand, then lock it tight with the collar ring. No tools needed.
  • Snap on the Hose: Click your hose or sprinkler onto the male snap-on connector at the bottom.
  • Turn the Two Dials: Set Frequency (how often) and Run Time (how long). Wait about 3 seconds for the LED to confirm, and you are done.

Good to Know: The first watering starts one Frequency-interval after you set the dials, then repeats. To land the first soak at a set time, make your settings that many hours beforehand. After any change, wait ~3 seconds (LED flashes quickly) for the timer to validate. In winter or freezing weather, remove the timer, drain it, take out the batteries, and store it indoors.

Questions Buyers Ask

Q: Do I really just turn two dials?

A: Yes. Frequency = how often, Run Time = how long. There is no screen, no menu, and no app to learn — that is the whole point.

Q: How do I water right now without changing my settings?

A: Turn the Run Time dial to the ON position for instant manual watering, then back to OFF (or your usual setting) when finished.

Q: What batteries does it take?

A: Two AAA (LR03) 1.5V alkaline cells, not included. Use fresh alkaline batteries at the start of the season; do not use rechargeables.

Q: Will it fit my tap and hose?

A: The tap adaptor is a standard 3/4" (G3/4, 26.5 mm) thread with a hand-tightened collar ring, and the base has a male snap-on connector for a normal hose.

Q: Can it handle low water pressure?

A: Yes — it works from 0 bar up to 8 bar, so it is fine even on gravity-fed or low-pressure supplies.

Q: Is it waterproof?

A: It is water-resistant for outdoor use, not submersible. Mount it above ground and vertical to the tap, keep the top cover and O-ring sealed, and never immerse it.

Q: Why is my first watering later than I expected?

A: The timer starts its first cycle one Frequency-interval after you set the dials. Set the dials that many hours before your ideal start time to line it up.

The Simplest Way to a Watered Garden

No menus, no manuals, no meltdowns. The YL-21025 proves that good automation does not have to be complicated — two dials, two batteries, and your plants take care of themselves.
