Compact Smart Multi-Station Irrigation Controller-AC(YL10468)

When a single hose timer is not enough, the YL10468 steps up. This is the controller that runs a whole garden, lawn, or small nursery from one box — up to eight independent irrigation stations, two programs each, and start times you can fine-tune to the hour. Plug it into mains power, connect your solenoid valves, add a rain sensor and a pump, and your entire watering system runs itself while you get on with the rest of your day.

Why Growers Choose the YL10468

  • Grows With Your Garden: Start with 4 stations and expand to 6 or 8 as your beds, greenhouse, or lawn grow — one controller, no extra boxes.
  • Two Programs, Four Starts Each: Program A and B each hold 4 start times, so you can do a pre-dawn soak and an evening top-up without ever touching it again.
  • Scheduling That Fits Real Life: Water by weekday, every 1–32 days, or on odd/even calendar days — match dry spells, grow cycles, or water restrictions exactly.
  • Rain Smart: Built-in rain delay (24/48/72 hrs) plus a rain/moisture sensor input that skips watering automatically when nature does the job.
  • Pump & Sensor Ready: A dedicated master-pump terminal (M) and sensor terminal (R) let you drive a pump and a rain sensor straight from the controller.
  • Never Loses the Plan: Two AA backup batteries keep the clock and programs alive through a power cut — settings are still there when the lights come back.

What You Can Do With It

  • Per-Station Control: Set a different duration (1–240 min) for every station — heavy soak for lawn, light mist for seedlings.
  • Three Ways to Set "How Often": Pick specific weekdays, an interval of 1–32 days, or odd/even days of the month. Switch per program in seconds.
  • Instant Manual Watering: Press MANUAL to water all stations, one program, or a single station on demand — no need to reprogram.
  • Clear, Honest Display: The dial-and-buttons interface shows clock, next start, and live countdown while watering. No app, no Wi-Fi, no fuss.
  • Safe Off Mode: Turn the dial to OFF and every station and function shuts down cleanly.

Perfect For

  • Home gardeners running sprinklers, drip lines, and a greenhouse from one system
  • Small farms, nurseries, and allotments that need reliable multi-zone automation
  • Landscapers who want pro scheduling (odd/even days, intervals) without cloud lock-in
  • Anyone tired of hose timers that only ever run one zone

Heads-Up: The YL10468 is an AC-powered controller for indoor or weather-protected installation (mount it in a garage, shed, or covered box). It drives 24V AC valves, not a direct hose connection — pair it with standard irrigation solenoid valves.

Set It Up in 5 Steps

  • Power & Mount: Connect the 24V transformer to mains (230V or 110V) and mount the controller indoors or in a covered box. Insert 2 × AA backup batteries.
  • Set Clock & Date: Turn the dial to SET CLOCK. Use + / – to set time, then ENTER to move through year, month, and day. Long-press + / – to scroll faster.
  • Plan Start Times: Go to START TIME, pick Program A or B with the PROG A/B button, then set up to 4 start times (1–4) for that program.
  • Set Duration & Frequency: At HOW LONG, choose the station and its watering minutes (1–240). At HOW OFTEN, choose weekdays, an interval of 1–32 days, or odd/even days.
  • Run, Delay or Manual: Turn to RUN for automatic watering. Press RAIN DELAY for 24/48/72 hrs off. Use MANUAL to water everything, one program, or a single station on demand.

Good to Know: A station showing "---" is switched off. Manual watering needs AC power (backup batteries only keep the display and memory). Turning the dial to OFF then back to RUN cancels an active rain delay. Connect a normally-closed rain sensor to the R terminal to auto-skip watering on wet days.

Questions Buyers Ask

Q: Is this the same as a hose tap timer?

A: No. The YL10468 is a mains-powered, multi-station controller for in-ground or greenhouse irrigation with 24V solenoid valves. It is built for whole-system automation, not a single threaded tap.

Q: How many zones can I run?

A: Up to 8 stations (configurable to 4, 6, or 8). Each station gets its own watering duration, and you can group them under Programs A and B.

Q: Can it water different areas on different days?

A: Yes. Frequency can be set per program as specific weekdays, an interval of 1–32 days, or odd/even calendar days — ideal for varied plant needs or water restrictions.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: Two options: press RAIN DELAY for a 24/48/72-hour pause, or wire a rain/moisture sensor to the R terminal so watering is skipped automatically whenever it is wet.

Q: Will I lose my schedule in a power cut?

A: No. The 2 × AA backup batteries keep the clock and saved programs. Mains power is only needed to actually run the valves and for manual watering.

Q: Can it run a pump?

A: Yes. A dedicated master-pump terminal (M) lets the controller trigger your pump alongside the zones.

Q: Do I need Wi-Fi or an app?

A: No. Everything is set on the device with the dial and buttons — simpler to install and it keeps working without internet.

Run Your Whole Garden From One Box

The YL10468 turns a tangle of hoses and timers into one calm, automatic system. Program it once, add a rain sensor, and let it look after the lawn, the beds, and the greenhouse — rain or shine, home or away.
